Green Pastures Veterinary practice in Weston-super-Mare, had a need to revamp their corporate identity. They wanted to retain the illustrated element and characters of their original logo, but update it in terms of typography and then extend the brand going forwards across other marketing materials.
An update to the typography, using typeface Fira Sans, gave the logo a contemporary new look, where before it had been paired with an old-fashioned looking serif font – not at all reflective of the clever veterinary work they do. To sit with the two corporate greens, I introduced a secondary colour palette, which we could use to help roll out some of the marketing materials.
Requirements straight away were for stationery, presentation templates and clothing for staff. I also updated the signage on the exterior of the building, in the car park and on the road leading up to the practice.
Following on from these initial roll outs of the brand, we then looked at the design style of some of the many customer-facing leaflets. These could be around special offers, specific treatments for certain animals, or packages of ongoing pet plans.
